How do I play Triple Triad War? On Screen Help

The Board



Starting

Table creator can set how much gold to wager (like any other game, except team play).

Players start with 1000 Hit Points.

A Random Player Gets to Attack First.

The starting hand is compromised of 10 of each level, no dupes, randomly shuffled. When the 100 cards have been passed through, a new 100 cards are retrieved.

Board Mechanics
Field Charge - The elemental charge of the field.
Chain Combo - The number of chains currently achieved by the player.
Clock - Time left to play your card.
HP - Hit Points, The players life.
"The Black Box" - The round summary of what occurred in all rounds.
Sword [Picture] - Player is on Offense
Shield [Picture] - Player is on Defense

Playing

All cards that are in the hand of the player are face down to the opponent.

If time runs out, a card is selected for you.

Each card play is a round and cards are played face up.

Attacking

The attack value of the card can be found by multiplying the top value by the bottom value on the card.

The type of attack is determined by the element on the card. If no element, it is normal damage.

There is a small chance the attack can be critical.

A chain greater than 1 launches a combo attack that strikes the opponent as many times as chains that have accumulated.

If the element on the card matches the field charge, the attack is boosted.

If the element on the card is an elemental opposite of the defensive card, the attack is doubled.

If the element on the card is the same element of the defensive card, the attack is halved.

Some elements are indifferent to other elements, while others have different damage modifiers. You have to figure those out!

Defense

The attack value of the card can be found by multiplying the left value by the right value on the card.

If the element on the card is the same as the field charge element and the defense was successful, the field will heal you.

Battles

If the attack value is greater than the defense value, damage is done to the opponent based on element types, damage modifiers, field charges, chain combos, and critical possibilities. The chain count is increased by 1.

If the defense value is greater or equal to the attack value, the battle is a draw, field charge determines if the player is healed and the attack/defense phase changes.

The field charge is changed when 1 of the 2 players plays an elemental card. If no elements are played, the field charge remains.

Victory Conditions

A winner occurs when the opponent's life points are zero.

There are no draws in Triple Triad War, unless specifically stalemated. Rounds are perpetual. New cards are obtained and reshuffled until a winner is achieved.
